Parent leaders from BPON will attend the upcoming School Committee meeting on Wednesday, September 23 from 6pm-8pm to share with the Committee their expectations as parents for this School Year.
BPON leaders have prepared a set of "High Expectations for the district" which include their demands for the improvement of the Special Education Department, changes on the Code of Discipline, more and better programs for ELL students, improvements in the transportation department, among others.
As the mayoral election approaches and the legislature considers expansion of charter schools, BPS parents will remain vigilant and demand that ALL students have access to quality education.
